For the Public Advertiser. Spoken. Extempore by a young
gentleman (who was drinking Yorkshire ale) on hearing the
following toast, success to the two cans (meaning the
Americans and Corsicans) given by a gentleman who was
drinking French brandy punch.
  There is no doubt they're brave and bold,
  Success their names proclaim;
  Ameri-cans their freedom hold,
  and Corsi-cans the same.
